I have had a very rare disease called diabetes insipides. It was the result of an injury to my neck & spine when diving. There is only one medication for this which became available in 1990. Without this medication the body flushes out nutrients before they can be absorbed. This causes the body to be continually weak & subject to infection, ect. Because there was a mistake in getting my Prescription filled, I went 2 weeks without it. At the same time I had 3 acupuncture treatments.The specialist who diagnosed the diabetes insipides check me and the specific gravity of my sample was perfect, this is wonderful benefit. I don′t need this prescription which costs $140 every 11 days. I am determined to eliminate my numerous medications and illnesses. This is the 4th significant illness that I have overcome with this practice. When we are faced with problems, the Gosho teaches us that ″This is what the sutra means by ″the power [of the Buddhist] that has the lion′s ferocity.″ Believe in this mandala with all your heart. Nam-myoho-renge-kyo is like the roar of a lion. What sickness can therefore be an obstacle?
